Ah, Friday after Thanksgiving. I give thanks to Microboards for not scheduling work today! Unlike Lauren who had to wake up early to go to work this morning, I nestled away back under the covers and slept till 9, then took a brisk walk around the neighborhood. It sounds like plans today are to chill with the dudes… Jason’s birthday still needs celebrating and I may have agreed to a Guys Day Out following Wednesday night’s Guys Night Out.

Wednesday we hit up the Timberwolves-Spurs game as part of the Wolves’ Guys Night Out promo, which gets a ticket, drink, hot dog, and meet-and-greet with the cheerleaders for $15. Not only were we treated to a thrilling overtime loss, but it was the most fun I’ve ever had at an NBA game. Maybe it was the fact that I was eight beers deep but everyone was screaming for Darko Milicic all night and I made it up on the Jumbotron doing a dance. The party didn’t end at the Target Center as a few of us hit up the downtown bar scene afterwards. I ran into famed sportscaster Robby Incmikoski twice and gabbed about our local teams. Nice guy! Much better than that LaPanta fellow.

Here’s a picture of my meet-and-greet with the ladies of the Timberwolves. There are pictures on timberwolvesfacebook.com of the other guys too… worth a look if you’re bored.
