As one might expect, me posting entries on this blog during work hours was quickly put to a halt today. I don’t think I ever really expected to get away with it for long. I also was told to delete some work-related posts from the blog as well. I never expected co-workers to be so interested in my day-to-day life, but some evidentally either are that interested, or are out to get me in trouble. So any future posts will not be falling between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. And just for the record, I never did put the name of the company or any employees’ full names… but co-workers are smart enough to figure that stuff out.
Currently Lauren and I are hanging out on the couch. I just posted some photos from the Milwaukee trip on the site and Lauren is knitting and watching an old Bond movie. Earlier we cooked some delicious chicken fajitas, then walked off our calories by taking a trip around Uptown. Last night after getting home, we finished off Season 6 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It might have been my favorite season yet, and I especially liked the ending to the season, but won’t spoil it here.
Tonight is just the second time in the last 42 days the Twins don’t play. Interleague play continues this week with the Nationals and Diamondbacks coming into town. Just think, 11 years ago the Nationals were the Expos and the Diamondbacks were a year away from their first season. Lauren and I have plans of taking in Friday’s game with Arizona since it’s the big Dan Gladden bobblehead giveaway night.
Saturday I have a wedding to DJ in Plymouth. I just got off the phone with the groom, and I am excited to find that the couple is primarily country fans. Much easier for me to put together a good playlist with songs I’m familiar with. Sunday I also have to DJ, but it’s just a short 3-hour charity show at O’Gara’s. See what a good citizen I am, volunteering my weekend away for worthy causes?
