This is me.

A native of Carpenter, South Dakota, I spent several years in Minneapolis and now reside in Austin, Texas. I am 34 and work as the Marketing Automation Manager for Protect America (views are my own) and a part-time email designer for FoundersCard and Sightline Payments. I spend my free time cheering for the Minnesota Twins, singing karaoke, blogging (obviously) and trying new beers. I yearn to one day own a bar and host SNL.

This is my wife.

Lauren and I met November 30, 2007 and got married October 10, 2009. She is a native of Excelsior, MN but went to college in Canada. Lauren recently was promoted at Whole Foods in the Southwest US regional office here in Austin as a Buyer. Lauren can often be found knitting, chatting on her online message board with fellow yarn enthusiasts, enjoying a glass of wine, or being a top-notch mommy.

This is our son.

Johnny is our lone child, over 2 1/2 years old now. He's a good singer, a big fan of super heroes, Finger Family videos, and the Muppets, and likes eating vitamins, ice cream, and chocolate milk. He has a crush on his Montessori School teacher Miss Morgan. He can count to 14 and loves accusing Baxter of pooping on everything.

This is our dog.

Poor, poor Baxter. Once the center of our lives, Baxter has taken a backseat to baby Johnny the past few months. We can't possibly give him the attention he craves, but he does get daily walks and some occasional doggy dates with best bud Eli, or sent to doggy daycare for a day. He has developed a taste for baby formula.
