Scanning Project – Family Photos

I borrowed a scanner from a friend and decided to archive all of my physical photos from about 1997 to 2003, the time in my life where I owned a film camera. So far I have scanned 734 photos and it has been fairly painstaking pulling picture after picture out of these old albums, scanning four at a time, putting them back in the album, and so on. But I am having fun looking back at the olden days and sharing many of the photos on Facebook!

I probably won’t go embarrassing the family by posting pictures of them on Facebook, but far fewer people visit this blog and I think it will be a good opportunity to share a few gems.

  1. the dog in most of the pictures was Brandy. She was SO cute…maybe I need to get another dog! The decor in the background was hideous, what was I thinking? I’d like to have copies of your pictures, and I could scan ours and share them with you.

  2. Those are equal parts funny and horrifying. My hair! And those outfits! And I’m with Mom….the house was pretty awful in a lot of those. But fun to look at anyway.
